Is Under Armour better quality than Nike?

Under Armour may still seem like the “new kid on the block” after only releasing their first line of footwear in 2009, but they have continued to grow from there, especially with their running and basketball shoe lines.

Their success comes down to the technology that they use. Their shoes are also known as “Smart Shoes” and include features like Bluetooth capability that can be used to track performance.

They’re also known for their compression technology, cushioning, and heel cups for additional support.

Nike has been around for a lot longer, and their shoe product line varies from running shoes to basketball shoes to casual streetwear. They’ve also released shoes with technology over the years, like their Nike air-sole system, Nike Shox, and Flywire, as well as the Nike Free Run, which was designed to make it feel like you’re running without shoes.

They’ve also included the latest technology with the Nike+. The Nike+ sensor tracks your performance through a wireless connection. But you’d have to register on the website too, as it will store your information there.

Both Under Armour and Nike are driving innovation to deliver high-quality shoes that will allow you to perform at your best. But deciding on which brand to choose will come down to your personal preference.

What does HOVR mean?

HOVR, which is pronounced as “Hover,” is the name given to the new cushioning technology used by Under Armour.

This added cushioning foam is wrapped in the compression mesh Energy web, which helps increase the return of energy and absorb the impact. This technology allows for better push-off while running.

When did UA start to produce shoes?

Although Under Armour has been designing sportswear since 1996, they only developed their first shoe line 2009, making their debut with the Illusion running shoes.

They then went on to design basketball shoes. This product line was released in 2011 and came out in four different styles.
